The meaning
SEYRÉ takes its name from the Arabic word سير journey.
For us, it is the journey within- toward peace in a world of constant noise.
The mountain symbolizes the quiet search for contentment. The moon represents the guiding light that illuminates our path.
Inspired by the tradition of solitude and reflection at the Cave of Hira, SEYRÉ was born to bring intentional stillness back into modern life.
Before revelation, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would withdraw from the noise of Makkah and spend time alone in reflection.
That same intention guides what we make: each candle is hand-poured in small batches in Georgia and Michigan, with only beeswax, coconut oil, and pure essential oils from around the world.
